St. Antony-Ironwork – The cradle of the Ruhr Industry
Opening the LVR-Industrial-Archaeological-Park the witness to "the cradle of Ruhr industry" the first ironwork in the coal mining region, - St Antony plant - will be on show from summer 2010.
The open access excavation site and the museum beside recount the thrilling story of how Ruhr industry came into being - bribery, gunfights and subterfuge included.
